Amazons

The Amazons live in the cold mountains of Boreas. They are a proud people that have lived in isolation for centuries, fiercely guarding their independence and their way of life. The Amazons are a tribe of warrior women who are skilled fighters, horseback riders, and powerful archers. They are feared by the ancient Greeks and are a symbol of female independence and strength.

Hoplites

The Hoplites are the defenders of the peace. They protect the capital city with their tactical knowledge and physical prowess. Their role in ancient Greece is essential to ensure the safety and security of the city-states. Hoplites are heavily armored soldiers who fight in close formation. They carry a round shield, a spear, and a short sword and armor of the finest bronze.

Unit Faction

In the world of HeXenagos different faction fight to gain the favour of the gods and for the glory of their commander (Xenagos). Each faction has a certain playstyles but units from different factions can be added to your army.

Unit Type

Each unit has a unit type, defining its role on the battlefield. A type can have certain strenghts and weaknesses when facing other types.

Unit Rarity

Some units are more frequent than others. To simuate this each unit has been given a rarity.

Bodyguard

Bodyguard will protect a weak unit from being attacked, the unit using this skill will become the target of the attack, this will be active till his next activation. It’s perfect for protecting units holding objectives or units that are low on life points.

Piercing Throw will let you throw a spear with a devastating force. It can reach a target up to 2 hexes away with better accuracy and dealing extra damage to the target.

Well Trained are the units that are chosen for battle. In the heat of battle they remember their teachings well. A unit activating this Mythos will perform an attack with better accuracy.

Pinning shot will make sure the opponent's unit is not going anywhere. A successful attack with this Mythos will prevent the target from moving the next turn.
